Donald M. Wright (defendant) was charged and convicted, following a jury trial, of murder in the first degree, § 565.020, 1 and armed criminal action, § 571.015.1. He was sentenced to life imprisonment without eligibility for probation or parole for the murder offense and life imprisonment for the armed criminal action offense. Defendant thereafter filed a motion for post-conviction relief as permitted by Rule 29.15 that was denied after an evidentiary hearing. Defendant appeals the judgment of conviction (No. 18197) and the order denying his Rule 29.15 motion (No. 20592). This court consolidated the appeals pursuant to Rule 29.15(l) as it existed on the date defendant's motion was filed. The judgment of conviction and the order denying the Rule 29.15 motion are affirmed.
